Plan Your Visit
Thinking about joining us for worship?
We know visiting a church for the first time can come with a few questions.
Here you'll find everything you need to make your first Sunday at Shelbyville First easy.
-
We are located on Main Street (IL-16) in downtown Shelbyville, Illinois. You'll find us at 205 W. Main Street, a few blocks west of the Shelby County Courthouse. Worship starts at 9:00 am, but if you’re a few minutes late, that’s okay, too.
-
Worship at Shelbyville First is traditional and welcoming, with hymns, prayer, Scripture, a Children's Message, and a sermon. Our service lasts about an hour, and there's no need to dress up. Bulletins guide you through the service, making it easy to follow along whether you're a regular worshiper or first-time guest.
PARKING
Street parking is available around the church, or use the school parking lot behind the church on Sunday mornings.ENTERING
Use the red doors on Walnut Street or the accessible ramp entrance near the school parking lot.CHILDREN
Children are welcome in worship and are invited forward for a Children's Message. Nursery and Children's Church are also available. -
