Whether you're camping, staying in a cabin, or enjoying a weekend around Lake Shelbyville, we're just a short drive away. If you're staying at Lithia Springs, Wolf Creek, Eagle Creek, Lone Point, Bo Wood, Coon Creek, Opossum Creek, or another campground around the lake, simply follow Main Street (IL-16) into downtown Shelbyville. You'll find us at 205 W. Main Street, a few blocks west of the Shelby County Courthouse.

Street parking is available around the church. On Sunday mornings, you're also welcome to park in the school parking lot behind the church.

You can enter through the red doors at the top of the steps along Walnut Street on the east side of the church, or use the accessible entrance on the north side of the building next to the school parking lot. Both entrances lead into the church, and we're happy to help you find your way once you're inside.

Our Sunday worship service begins at 9:00 a.m. and lasts about an hour. Rooted in the rich tradition of Christian worship, we gather to sing hymns, pray together, hear Scripture read, and reflect on God's Word through a message that connects faith with everyday life. Each week also includes a children's message.

Bulletins guide you through the service, making it easy to follow along whether you're a regular worshiper or visiting for the weekend.

Children are always welcome in worship. Following the children's message, families may choose what works best for them. Children are welcome to remain in worship, attend Children's Church, or spend time in the nursery. Our nursery is available for infants and young children.

Do I need to dress up?
No. You'll see everything from shorts and sandals to dress clothes. Wear what is comfortable for you.

What if I arrive a little late?
Life happens, especially when you're traveling or enjoying a weekend at the lake. Come on in whenever you arrive. An usher or greeter will be happy to help you find a seat.

When is Holy Communion celebrated?
We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month. Christ's table is open to everyone.

Will I be asked to introduce myself?
No. We want you to feel free to worship without feeling put on the spot. If you'd like to meet someone afterward, we'd be delighted to get to know you.

Is there Sunday School?
Yes. There are two adult classes and a class for junior high and high school students every Sunday. On the first Sunday of the month, we have a special class called First Sunday Story Hour with fun activities for students in 2nd through 6th grade.
